DIABETES SUPPORT GROUPS
Social afternoons in Whanganui (the last Saturday of the month at Gonville Centre, 44b Abbott Street), usually with a guest speaker followed by a shared afternoon tea).
The Marton Support Group meet on the 1st Saturday of the month (March to December) at Friendship Hall, 7 Morris Street, Marton from 2pm.
The information kiosk at the River Traders market is currently in recess due to lack of volunteers to help with setting up and taking down our gazebo but we may occasionally have a stall at the market from 9am – 1pm.
There is a Youth Support Group that have various activities for our young people during the year as well as a Parents Support Group that meets regularly for support and social interaction.
